5. Compliance with Local Laws & Shipping Restrictions

You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws, statutes, and regulations regarding the purchase, possession, and import of products offered on this Site.

Jurisdictional Restrictions: The Hippie House, LLC reserves the right to restrict shipments or cancel orders originating from or destined for states, counties, or municipalities where specific botanicals, accessories, or mycology items are restricted or prohibited by law.

If an order is placed for delivery into a restricted jurisdiction, the order will be canceled and refunded minus any applicable administrative or credit card processing fees.

6. Orders, Pricing & Payment Terms

Credit Card Descriptor: All transactions processed on this Site will appear on your bank or credit card statement as SP*HIPPIE HOUSE GLAS.

Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders placed with incorrect pricing due to typographical error, suspected fraudulent activity, or unverified age status.

7. Pre-Arbitration & Billing Dispute Policy (Chargebacks)

You agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any billing discrepancies, delivery issues, or product disputes directly with The Hippie House, LLC customer support prior to filing a dispute or chargeback with your financial institution or credit card issuer.

Contact First: Before initiating a chargeback, you must contact customer service at info@hippiehouse.com or call (253) 267-1708 to allow us an opportunity to resolve the issue, issue a replacement, or process a refund.

Fraudulent Chargebacks: Unjustified or fraudulent chargebacks initiated without prior attempt to contact us may be referred to third-party collection agencies or legal counsel, and may result in permanent blacklisting across high-risk merchant processing databases.

8. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

All purchases made on this Site are made pursuant to a shipment contract. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon our transfer of the package to the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Hippie House, LLC from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Service or misuse of products purchased from the Site.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements under which we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Pierce County, Washington.
